The pioneer
in cat litter

Plant-based cat hygiene products

Cat’s Best combines plant-based raw materials (wood fibres) with patented plant fibre technology from J. Rettenmaier & Söhne – making it the first cat litter based on this technology: the patent application was filed as early as 1995, and the Cat’s Best trademark was registered in 1998.
As well as plant-based ingredients, Cat’s Best incorporates a great deal of plant fibre technology, which enables our litter to absorb and encapsulate up to seven times its own weight in urine: instantly and reliably, right down to the very last drop!
This prevents odours from developing in the first place. Going to the loo becomes a cosy, woodland-like experience for your cat.

Plant fibre technology for new performance standards in cat litter.

Cat’s Best is a product of the world’s leading plant fibre technology company, J. Rettenmaier & Söhne. For more than 140 years, our company has been researching the world of plant fibres and developing innovative technologies that exploit the properties of these natural raw materials. With the help of the complex ICS* Wood Fibre Technology* process developed especially for Cat’s Best, plant fibres are technologically refined. The Activ wood fibres obtained in this way are able to absorb urine and odours at lightning speed and bind them reliably. Unlike mineral litter, Cat’s Best is therefore a new generation of cat litter.

Easy disposal

After use, Cat’s Best can be disposed of with household waste for thermal recycling and is 100 per cent recyclable in waste incineration. Where permitted, it can also be disposed of with organic waste. In contrast, mineral litter is not 100 per cent recyclable through thermal recycling and inevitably ends up in landfill.

No. 1 worldwide of cat litter made from plant fibres

Cat’s Best is particularly species-appropriate and meets the cat’s own specific hygiene needs. This has made Cat’s Best the most popular vegetable fibre cat litter around the world.
